Aptly named the Parent’s Retreat, this bedroom really was created with that exact focus in mind. The owners of the Malvern Residence are hardworking parents who (like all of us!) need their very own escape from the hustle and bustle of life.
The bedroom is so cosy and effortlessly stylish. Quality bedsides are always a great starting point and the Ethnicraft Spindle proved the perfect option. They were styled to perfection by the norsu Design team, and we’ve added in their tips to create the look yourself below.
Onto dressing the bed and this, my friends, is a serious styling point that impacts the whole look and feel of the room. One of the things we love is just how creative you can be with layering throws. Taking our colour cues from the gorgeous Vanni limited edition artwork above the bed, we’ve created a literal BAYA Living throw wonderland on this bed. All the warmth and texture from the throws and cushions provides that longed for dreamy oasis vibe as soon as you enter the room.
To get the Malvern Residence look, we followed our three golden vignette rules:
1. Differing object heights
2. A consistent colour palette with the defining features in the room (eg. the art hanging on the walls)
3. Styling in clusters of three
