Born in 1981 in a little town in the south of Sweden called Gnsjö. Lisa Bengtsson was always a very creative child working with paints and other creative works. When she grew up she liked to communicate by the means of visualization, colors, form, pattern and typography, which today has become her job. "Design for me is about communicating a certain feeling to other people. The day I realized I could communicate that feeling through my own creative ability, I decided I wanted to become a designer."
After Lisa's studies, she opened her own company working as a pattern designer, but also with graphical design and illustrations. Her biggest inspiration comes from people, their behaviors and how we live and used to live our lives. When she creates her patterns, she always tries to find an idea where she can put in her own values and thoughts into the project.
Lisa's designs are now seen extensively in interior design magazines around the world.
Her stylish and playful designs have been translated on many different materials including wallpaper, porcelain, posters, cloth and more.
The spicy mix of contemporary designs and old time stories make anyone fall in love with her work.
Lisa's iconic Tillsammans ('together' in Swedish) collection comes in twelve different motifs with names like Hugo, Candy, Owe, Petter, Ulrika Elenora, George, Barbro, Sixten, Pierre, Betty, Laura Francesca and Paul.
