We've spent so much time in lockdown again this year, there's never been a more important time to reconnect and come together to share the special occasions.

We are thrilled to welcome you into Nat's norsuHOME to share a sneak peek of how she will be styling her Christmas table for her own family this year using her take on a classic Christmas table with a norsu twist.

Keep reading as Nat answers the big questions... How do you set a long table table for the big day with maximum impact, and on a budget? We've thought creatively to style a beautiful table in an affordable manner to inject colour and festivity, while taking the stress out of your big day...

Nat's top tips to styling an affordable table this festive season.

1) Drag out the trestle tables or head to Bunnings 
Don't worry about how they look because you can cover them with a tablecloth! Trestles make the perfect and inexpensive entertaining tables for larger groups, and once the day is over, they fold down to nothing for easy storage during the year.

2) Invest in your napery
It's been a dream of ours to design our very own linen for the longest time, and this year, we have seen this come to life... It's no secret we are obsessed with good tablecloths and thanks to our friends at Eadie Lifestyle, we have teamed up to bring you this delicious new Blush striped Carter linen napery.

3) Decorate on a budget with some simple items

Foliage - don't spend hundreds of dollars on flowers, forage in your garden, or head to your local florist for some greenery and foliage - think holly, pine or fir branches, silver birch or magnolia leaves, then scatter them down the centre of your table to bring colour and the most delicious and fresh scent.

Dehydrated citrus - add some colour with beautiful dehydrated fruit. Make your own by placing sliced citrus on a tray in your oven for 3-5 hours at 120 degrees to create these stunning little treats that you can use as centrepieces, decorations on your tree, and even as s garnish in your cocktails.

Cluster with candles - style with inexpensive items such as candles, tea lights, and pillars that you can reuse in other parts of your home once the day is over.

4) Have some fun with your alcohol

5) Set your table the night before
Save yourself some time and unnecessary stress on the day by setting your table the night before. Taking time to set the table is a brilliant way to get into the festive mood, and ensure you don't forget anything in the mad rush of Christmas morning.
